Children

As we age and mature, so does our life focus. My focus over the past few years has been on developing, molding, and pouring out unconditional love for my children. There is no greater task, nor joy on this Earth. It is not an easy task at times, but one that makes me proud to be called a mom.

Birthday Week!

Julian and Elia's birthdays are 3 days apart. This makes for a very busy, but fun-filled week! This year we had two parties, with two cakes, and two very different themes! Julian wanted all things chocolate, with made to order chocolate covered strawberries. Elia loves "diggers", so we made a pink cake with a bull dozer and a concrete mixer...just what she loves!!!

4th of July!

Each year our friends come over for a BBQ on the 4th. It was so hot, I'm suprised we didn't melt!

Great Wolf Lodge Vacation

This is now officially an annual trip during the kids' birthday week in July! Located in Grapevine, this resort is over the top and loaded with fun...We dared the thrill rides and floated in the indoor river. There are slides outside, and a great social pool to soak up the sun. The kids played with their wizard wands all through the resort when not in the water, scoring points and gathering "gold"!
