My First Valentine's Day

My daddy bought my mommy pretty flowers and a HUGE balloon for Valentine's Day. I can't believe how fun balloons are! My daddy gave me extra kisses on this special day. I am loved!!!

I'm 7 months old!

I am growing up so fast, or so my mommy and daddy tell me! My first word? Dadda, of course! My daddy turns inside out everytime I say it, and I say it ALOT! I am sitting up very well, and I love to stand, with help. I'm not crawling yet, but I'm on my hands and knees ready to go any day now! Boy do I get mad when I can't figure out how to make those legs work, though! So my mode of transportation? Rolling. I can go anywhere by rolling! It works great.


I am eating VERY well. I love fresh avacado and ripe bananas! I tried apple juice for the first time last month and although I wasn't sure at first, I really like it! No teeth just yet, but my gums are bumpy! I get cranky every now and then because those puppies hurt! Until next time, love to all my family and friends! ~Elia Elizabeth

My First Plane Ride!

What a good girl I was this weekend! We flew to El Paso this weekend to surprise my Grandma Elia and Brother, Julian! You should have seen the look on their faces when I came through the door! I was perfect on the plane, despite my mom's worries and flat out panic attacks! I fell asleep as we took off, and woke up as we landed. My ears never hurt once! I met my cousins Jeannette, Bianca, and Brandon and was reunited with my Tia Claudia, Tio Fabien, cousins Alexa and Matthew. My brother and I hugged and laughed together, and my Grandma Elia loved on me the whole time. My brother, Julian, opened more Christmas gifts, and one was a new bowling ball! He was in heaven! It even had its own bag. He loved it! I had a lot of fun on my first out of town adventure!

Baby's First Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner, but we already have our most precious gift! Elia is 6 months old and has filled our hearts and home with a love I never knew was possible. Her smile lights up a room, and spreads joy to anyone who is near her. She has a VERY loud voice, and a laugh that will have your sides hurting! She's noticed the gifts under the tree, and can't WAIT to pull out the tissue paper out of the bags! From our home to yours ~ Merry Christmas to you all!
