Our flower photos
For years I've been taking photos as a hobby/passion, and found it is just as fun taking photos with Isaac and Julian. These are a collection of photos of flowers that were taken by the Tellez Family throughout the years. We've never really shared them, but as I was looking back in our photo files, I felt like they were just too beautiful not to share! Julian really has an eye for just the perfect shot. I hope Elia shares our same joy of photography! She definitely has had the camera on her since day one!!!

Girl Trip to Arkansas
Elia, Nana, and I headed to Northwest Arkansas to see my brother, Chris, and his family. We watched my nephew, Ethan, play flag football, and the kids played together in a park near downtown Bentonville.

Ehtan took this one, but I had to post it. I love his abstract creativity!

Ethan, Elia, and SarahDodger Fans!
Daddy and Elia have been watching the playoffs together cheering on the LA Dodgers. Here, they are outfitted together with their Dodgers gear! Elia's outfit was Julian's when he was a little boy. Daddy was so happy to have his little girl wear it so proudly. She gets so excited when she sees any ball game on t.v. I have a feeling she will grow up watching all of daddy's favorite teams!

Happy Birthday...Happy Feet!
Lisa and I celebrated our birthdays this weekend during our monthly "Girl's Night Out"...a club exclusively for Mayhill Rejects (if you are one, you know what that means. If you aren't one...well, you aren't invited anyway so don't worry what it means!!! Ha!) Mary Ann, Kelley, Angela, Lisa, and I began the night in Richardson's version of China Town, where we had a fabulous meal. Then we made our way to Happy Feet, a non-creepy massage parlor where we had a foot and back massage! It was heaven! To top it off, Mary Ann provided cheese cake! Angela and I had relaxing massages, however somehow the others received some sort of native torture technique! I'm pretty sure Kelley had a tear rolling down her face in pain, while mumbling the word, "Mommy" under her breath! Lisa, on the other hand, let out a moan that would scare small children! It was hysterical! I have not laughed that much in a long time! Although we have bruises and sore muscles from our adventure, I am SO grateful to have good friends to celebrate with. Thank you guys for being such great friends.

Elia's First Birthday
Our precious baby turned one on July 9th. We had a little party for her, and Mickey Mouse Club House was the theme because that is her favorite show in the world! She loved the idea of opening gifts and then running around the room to show them off. As everyone eewwwed and ahhhed, she would crack up! She wasn't too sure about what to do with her cake that Nana made her. She touched it gently, until mommy finally smushed her hands in the icing! She never really did like having the mess on her, but I think she enjoyed that butter cream icing! This has been the greatest year of my life and I cherish each memory made with this beautiful little girl. She is the greatest gift of all.
